Shane Duffy

Shane Duffy was born in Derry, Northern Ireland on Jan. 1 1992. He started his professional playing career from Derry. In 2007, he played for the Northern Ireland national football team at the U16, leaving a deep impression to David Moyes, the manager of Everton. Then he became a member of the first team to participate in the pre-season friendlies. He accomplished his first appearance in a match against AEK Athens in the UEFA Europa League in 2009, taking the place of injured Sylvain Distin. He was loaned to other clubs in most of his time, including Burnley, Scunthorpe and Yeovil.

In 2014, Shane Duffy became a regular member of the Blackburn Rovers for a large sum of transfer fee. Wes Hoolahan was born in Dublin, Ireland on May 20, 1982.
