Kevin Long was born in Cork, Ireland on Aug. 18, 1990. Kevin Long is a current professional defender of the Ireland national football team. Prior to reach an agreement with Cork City, he played for the Cork City youth structure. After a short time, he accomplished his first appearance as a second half substitute. Then he, along with Dan Murray, started his playing career in senior team from a competition in a home against Ipswich Town.
In 2010, it was confirmed that Long had become a regular member of the Burnley. During this period, he was loaned to many football clubs, including Stanley, Rochdale, Portsmouth, Barnsley F.C. and Milton Keynes Dons. In addition to unremitting efforts with football clubs above, he capped for the Ireland national football team, cutting a striking figure in this period. He played for the Ireland squad for the first time in a competition against Mexico as a second-half substitute. I firmly hold that Long will grow into a world-class super football star by unremitting efforts and diligent practices.
